Three of us paid $12/person for a river cruise in mid-June and had a fabulous time. The crew was helpful, informative and at times hilarious. The captain explained waterfront sites - row teams, white water rafting simulator, zipline, etc. - along with the history of some of the buildings and parks along the way.
