It's a zoo. It's always a gamble on what the animals will be doing when you walk by. The layout is really nice and the food's good. You can always count on going to the inside exhibits and seeing snakes and reptiles some of the animals are "sleeping" The playground and kids areas are nice
Had a lot of birds not o exhibit because of preventing bird flu also couldn't feed the ducks as well, still had a blast the grizzly bears were out of hibernation and was fun to watch them eat giraffes were also Kool as well had fun at the okc zoo all around would recommend going down to see it
I’ve been to quite a few zoos and I have to say OKC zoo is my new favorite. We were about to purchase tickets online for feedings but they only sell them in person. Their website isn’t completely accurate but their app is and it told us all the feeding times for the giraffe, rhino, flamingos, and manta ray. We loved the playgrounds as the kids got a bit tired of walking and needed a break. The food was pricey but I saw many people being in the woe own food.
