If you think you can handle the advanced courses and extra homework, STEMM is a great choice. There are some big projects that require commitment, but if you like that kind of thing it’s great. I don’t really like the uniforms and some of the teachers are really strict, but some of them are really chill. There is a ton more work than you would get at a regular middle school, and STEMM is kind of short staffed right now, but altogether it’s great and I’m glad I went. I’m tired.
STEMM is an amazing school, but sometimes can be very stressful. The teachers are super nice, but science fair and NHD can be a struggle for some students. Homework could also cause tears. Overall great school, but can be a challenge to succeed.
I went back in 2017 and I still reminice of good and bad memories. I remember how i Mrs Morris made me end up crying in the bathroom on several occasions. I look at this now and see a problem though i said nothing at the time but it was very harsh, or maybe I was too soft, but really is thick skin like that expected from a 12 year old.
