I applied for a passport with Tamika Dally and had a wonderful time :) She made it easy and stress free and I didn’t expect to, but I had a lot of fun!
So in person, it’s actually a pretty decent experience. I like the fact that so much can be accessed in a single location. However, since moving and having to communicate with them over the phone, it has been unpleasant. I don’t know if they’ve just been slammed lately, but that’s still no excuse to drop the ball and be rude and assumptive in the way that they were with my requests/inquiries. Had to renew my driver's license and the process was quick and totally painless. The staff are friendly and helpful. Make an appointment and read the info they send you ahead of time so you know what is required and it's a breeze.
After dealing with NY DMV this place is awesome.
The facility is very nice with comfortable seats 4 to 5 stars. I made a reservation and was seen quickly, in just a few minutes 5 stars. My customer service person, Desk 12, Jackie F, was rude, condescending, unpleasant and said she did Vehicle Titles all the time. BUT it took her forever and she had to ask several people how to do her easy job she well understood. I would not have minded her not knowing her job, BUT I had to write up her obnoxious behavior along with the process taking almost an hour.
