The young man with three months left until he returns to his hometown in Pittsburgh did an excellent job doing my eye exams. Toole, OD, PhD, came into review his findings and concurred. This is the best optometrist I have ever received services from and sad to see his student leaving, they make an excellent team. I have been going OSU’s optometry services and the eyewear gallery for well over 5 years. The staff is extremely thorough when checking vision and I have always felt they truly cared about me as a patient. I have purchased over 5 pairs of glasses/prescription sunglasses during this time without much of a complaint. The eyewear gallery staff were always helpful and supportive until recently. You have to pay for parking...even with the voucher, that's just for a discount. Getting an exam is very slow. From getting seated to getting somebody to do your exam. It gets excused as it's because a student is giving you the exam before an actual optometrist looks things over, you know, so you do your community deed and help train the future. So, you're being used as a guinea pig for training others, which again, feels righteous on its own, but you'd think you'd get a discount...NOPE! It's a ripoff since OSU charges these... read more
