I recently watched my granddaughter compete in the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) golf tournaments. The district tournament at Sycamore Springs Golf Course in Arlington, Ohio, needs improvement. Spectators lined up for over an hour to get a golf cart only to be turned away when there were not enough carts. On 10-21-24 I attended a girls soccer tournament game at Waverly High School between Zane Trace and Eastern local , I have never before witnessed an altercation between 2 players with 1 being the agreesor, and the 3 referee's in the game did not attempt to stop the altercation, and left it up to the players to stop the altercation? Later I was advised that the referee's did not try and stop the altercation because they were afraid that they would be sued ? What has to happen to a player or players for an adult to step in ?
