Are you guys just not bothering to clear the roads in Wayne county on new years eve?
These people are addicted to salt. They were salting damp roads this morning when it was well above freezing, no snow anywhere! Wouldn't be such a big deal if the salt wasn't so damaging to cars and their own infrastructure.
I live on Madison Hill and there is a huge sink hole starting on the road. Called several time and i keep getting told there going to re pave the road. They can't tell me when that's going to happen. In the mean time i told them they could at least patch it. Great to see no one cares that the road might collapes!
This morning exactly at 7:25am a orange wayne county crew of 2 trucks blocked off one lane of honwytown rd just north of 250 and they had no flaggers i could not see oncoming traffic. From over the dip. Just flashing lights from the trucks was all is not adequate for the situation. And the road wasnt closed or there was no warning of sorts either
