I have been off sick duo to my mental health since January. I love my job,and I'm feeling happy there. After being discharged to go back to work, I was informed by the occupational health that i couldn't return yet.i was devastated because,my doctor told me it will benefit for me to go back, plus im struggle with my finances. I feel I have been descrinated ,because my mental health. I think occupational health should help staff,not make things worse .for sure ,it's discrimination.
Developed a type IV hypersensitivity reaction to the blue nitrile gloves we use in healthcare. Phoned for an appointment after being advised by a colleague, the gentleman on the other end of the phone had a poor command of his job role, and promptly transferred me to the insurance department? Insurance chap was almost comically grumpy and told me Occupational Health was "for bad backs and things like that" and "what? GP wouldn't see you?" he phoned me back and told me that I should go to A&E. I have had to book a private GP ... read more
