I should NOT have to fight this hard to accept financial aid. Granted, I was offered this, I didn’t beg the University of Illinois to give me funding. This office is an absolute joke! Funding for Fall 26 / Spring 27 was pushed because of some “federal bill,” although other schools in the country had no issues. Finally, after 4 months of asking for an update, they only gave me 12 days to accept my aid. Of course they messed it up. Terrible. Absolutely awful. I have quick questions but I can’t get answers. They never answer the phone. They Say they are busy but when they finally answered after waiting so long this guy pretended to not hear me and hanged up on me. This is so unprofessional and rude. This school should hire people who actually do their job right.

I had problems with my fafsa and they just directed me to the fafsa number and offered no help. She made me feel even more anxious than I already was too.
