My special needs child has been without a new diaper all day yesterday. He had been sitting in urine. I told his doctor about all his home medicines and his purée diet, but no orders were made. He still hasn't had any of his home medications including his seizure medicine. He can’t eat most of the regular diet trays he was given because he doesn’t know how to chew up food well. No way someone should be waiting 8 plus hours to see someone for scheduled surgery they had. That morning it was scheduled and she didn’t even get to the back until 4 hrs later. Poor service .

I've honestly never been treated anywhere near this well by a hospital. I was there for several days and the care, comfort, and even food were all next-level. Oh, and if Crystal, on the 6th floor isn't your nurse... I feel for ya. I got to know probably 80 different staff members, from doctors to kitchen workers and even their worst was better than most hospital's best, but Crystal was exemplary beyond measure.

Seriously Douglas parking needs to go. You need to put a commercial and courier spot. This is beyond ridiculous. Hospitals should never be a pay to park nor parking tickets. Until now it has never been an issue the post before of the Douglas guy is the one . He is a menace and does not need to be employed . As well as the old man with the white hat.

Nurses Destiny, Celeste and Trevor in the Emergency Deparment must not be fully aware that battery against patients is against the law. If a patient is non-combative, alert and oriented there is no rationale for restraining them for IV placement. Louisiana Board of Nursing needs to be made aware of the conduct of these nurses and the DON will be notified as well. No matter if you disagree with the patients wishes, at no point do you PHYSICALLY restrain them after their family has temporarily left the facility.
