Whoever was working the desk, it was like I a was putting them out just to ask her a question. I had gear in hand ready to pay and left it at the counter. Million places to spend my money, rather do that where folks have a little more tact.
I have had a marvellous experience with Ocean Quest so far. Being a novice cold water diver and new to Vancouver itself, I needed some guidance in getting myself my own gears and then start diving in a city where I hardly knew any active diver. I recently purchased an X-Deep Sidemount BCD through Ocean Quest, and the experience was excellent. Greg and his team were incredibly helpful and professional throughout the process. They were recommended to me by friends, and I can see why. Living on Vancouver Island, I really appreciated that they took my measurements remotely, set up the BCD for me, and then shipped it over - saving me a trip to Vancouver and extra costs. The whole process from beginning to end was extremely fast as well. Highly recommend!
