I had a very disappointing experience with OCCU and would not recommend them for an auto loan. After taking out my car loan, OCCU increased my monthly payment from $226 to $411 by adding collateral protection insurance (CPI), claiming that I had not provided proof of the required insurance coverage. The frustrating part is that I repeatedly tried to resolve the issue and was told multiple times by both branch employees and phone representatives that I have already provided everything they needed.
