First I must start with the positive and say that the shop carries good brands, looks good and has a very nice location with parking but my experience with Obsession bikes wasn't good at all and I can't recommend anyone buying there. I called the store last week to order some very specific parts for my bike that showed to be in stock at their shop, I explained that I'll be coming from Richmond and it's about an hour drive for me to get there. I was sufficiently impressed by Obsession that this is the first review of anything I’ve ever written. Visiting from out of town and TWICE I stopped by with no appointment with minor but deal-breaker bike issues and both times Dennis helped me out. To be clear, I would never *expect* this from a busy LBS at the end of their day, but I super appreciate that Dennis made time for me.
High quality and caring service! Shout out to Lou who went above and beyond. His "teach a man to fish" approach was very helpful! My husband and I recently moved to the North Shore. He quickly started having issues (or so he thought!) with the disc breaks (his previous bikes all had brake pads) on his bike. He tried to fix it himself, but no luck. I got to know Obssesion bike through Whistler Grand Fondo. I am from Saskatoon and have 2 favorite bike shops there! But lately, because my daughter lives here I needed bike shop here too. We bought bikes here and did service and repairs here for other my bikes and Tandem. I am so happy to deal with them: professional, honest, very reasonable prices and fun to deal with them! I strongly recommend!!!!
