I had my bike serviced here and had a cassette replaced however they charged me for a 11-36T cassette and then installed a 11-34T cassette (about $35 cheaper cassette) . Unfortunately I didn't do my due diligence and check this before taking the bike home. I only noticed this later and then had to return to the shop to get it swapped for the correct cassette. I had a really cool experience working with James for a bike fit. I got on the road cycling bandwagon due to my association with the Whistler Fondo, and I’m transitioning from commuting to road cycling. James’s approach is a bit old school in his approach to bit fits in a good way. He watches and films your pedaling and plays it back to you. Shoutout to Lou for being amazing and generous with his knowledge. We were going to buy an e-cargo bike from someone living close by. Lou assessed the electric components of the bike and we tried to fit a Yepp seat but it didn't have the right attachment. They didn't try to sell me stuff that wouldn't work. Just amazing experience and they put up with my two daughters asking all sorts of questions and running around the shop. I wish I lived closer to this place for it to become my Local Bike Shop.
Bike store from the freaking twilight zone (girl at the front was nice) just the dudes in the back were super grumpy. I had no idea what I needed so I asked them questions and I felt super judged like I was bothering them. Super weird vibes. All I needed was a chain
