Visited Oberlin for the weekend and was very glad I attended the Friday night planetarium event from 7-9. I love getting to hear an expert in the field talk without a script about their knowledge. Too cloudy for observing the sky but learned so much inside.
The planetarium is a very fun experience, the expert working there is very nice to talk to and will explain anything you don’t understand. If the weather is good, the observation deck will be open, and telescopes are set up with friendly students and community members showing visitors around the sky. Generally open every other Friday night, but more specific hours are posted outside their door on the 4th floor of Peters Hall!
