Hi Nathan Residents are elderly and very few have garages so they have to park as close as possible to the village when there's no parking on common property. Some park on Wyoming Avenue but it's a long walk up a hill to the building. Anyone who can't make the walk park on Vista. Unfortunately not enough thought has gone into the residents when building the retirement village.
Unfortunately, our experience with some neighbours from the Village has been quite disappointing. Many continue to park their cars in the smaller surrounding streets, often blocks away from their own homes and leave them there for days at a time. This creates unnecessary congestion and makes it extremely difficult for residents who actually live on these streets to find parking near their homes. These managers have now been removed from our village. Thanks to the hard work from us residents Milstern had to act. Now we can work on getting the village back to the happy and safe place it was. It is such a relief!!!!! I was very happy when I first moved here. The Managers were lovely and caring. Were only too pleased to help residents when needed. Plus nice healthy home cooked meals. I was very happy when I first moved here. The Managers were lovely and caring. Were only too pleased to help residents when needed. Plus nice healthy home cooked meals. We now have new managers, husband and wife, who are rude, intimidating and controlling bullies. It's absolutely disgraceful the way they treat us residents.
