I always enjoy visiting my Dad at the Oaks. When we have lunch they set up a special table for us and the food is excellent. Today was Valentine ‘s Day and each resident received a flower and handmade card. In the afternoon we had an ice cream sundae social. The staff are very welcoming to families and let them participate in the various activities. My Dad says all the staff are wonderful. The other residents are also friendly. The management treats the staff awful and without respect. The staff are not treated like human beings meanwhile it’s because of their hard work that this place is even half decent..
A great place to retire at!
Ally is extremely rude to the family member I have staying here. The way she talks down to them is quiet awful. She’s a minimum wage earner with a big ego from what I’m told ,and tries to run the place and do things her way. She needs to understand that we pay a premium to make sure our family is treated with respect, kindness, and dignity. I think it’s time for management to re-orientate her. If she’s only there for herself to then maybe consider working at the local McDonald’s instead.
