An elderly care facility that tries to let seniors live out the rest of their lives with dignity. Granted, some care facilities lack staff because they pay little more than minimum wage and have a high turnover because it is hard work. This facility is clean and nice, serves meals, and has some planned activities. What it lacks is an engaging experience for the elderly to enjoy. Varenna senior living participation at the Santa Cruz clam chowder cook off was a nice surprise. Delicious Boston chowder with a hint of spice.
Visited friends. Most beautiful facility I've ever seen. Friends love it. Lunch was delicious.
