My mother has been a resident of Oakmont valencia for 8 months and every day is better and better. The staff is exceptional -the young very caring dining staff (Dion and others) and her care staff (Clyde, Deep, Diana, Katarina, Linda) and medication- Christina and front - Willamina, August) sorry if I forgot anyone!! They always make my mom and us feel taken care of. My mom has Parkinson’s and needs extra care and we have been impressed with the level of care. I worked as a private caregiver for my patient ,partially blind and forgetful, so I was her ears the sight and the Voice. So many times I went to kitchen and ask for milk or anything and Maria who works in the kitchen said we don't have it. Even if they have it...I always told her my patient pays out from her pocket so I can get thing done e for her. Martin was very helpful and had a very pleasant attitude while doing so! He helped me move in and hung up my 50 photos for me! Then i decided to move to a larger place and Martin was there to help me remove and rehung up the photos! What a great asset to Oakmont Valencia

November 24, 2024. I truly recommend to visit your love one on regular basis. Most of all do unannounced visits. You might get an immediate feeling of disbelief and disappointment of what you will find. As we entered the room we noticed mom’s radio wasn’t on playing the usual songs of praise and worship, it was really quiet , dark (lights off and blinds down), cold with a very strong smell of urine.
