My father joined the Oakmont of Novato community almost 1 year ago. Placing your loved one in memory care is not easy on so many levels. I had looked at many facilities across two states. I’ve had the opportunity to become familiar with Oakmont of Novato and interact with several members of the team. My experience has been very positive. The community is beautiful, clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully maintained. What stood out to me most was the kindness, professionalism, and genuine care shown by the staff. I attended a lunch and learn tour at the Novato location. The facility is clean, bright, and well managed. I’m impressed with the quality of food, layout of the rooms, responsiveness of the staff, and dedication to best care practices in the memory care industry.

My grandma has been at Oakmont for a few years now and really has made it her home. Tracy and Ruth at the front desk are always so sweet and willing to help, Ann and Philip the bus driver are wonderful, and there are many others- I used to work at an assisted living facility and the people who work at Oakmont in Novato truly care and always seem to try their best to make their residents happy. My dad has been in Memory Care at Oakmont for about a month now. Management and staff have been wonderful helping us navigate this new and unnerving time of our dad’s life. He is in good hands!
