Today I received a call from my daughter she was being taken to the Oaklawn ER and asked if I would please meet her there. Upon my arrival I was told they were getting her settled and someone would get me when this was finished. I waited for about 40 minutes, and I was finally taken back. When I walked into the room, she started to tell me something and began crying. We want to thank Dr Goins, nurse Stephanie, and nurse Mike for a phenomenal experience at Oaklawn Hospital. From calming our nerves to providing fabulous service during my husband's surgery, we left the hospital raving not only about how wonderful we were treated, but how clean and pleasant everyone we came in contact with was. We were especially impressed with Mike! He went the extra mile, was beyond kind and caring, and very attentive. Great job Mike! You are a wonderful person! All our thanks. Joey and Travis Wilcox
Poor at best! The Oaklawn ER department is a joke at best! Rude, lazy, uncaring and arrogant. I will never recommend this hospital to anyone. What an embarrassment. Oh, I had to rate this hospital with at least one star to be able to submit my response. This is WAY too high of a rating.
I really liked the MD but I was treated very poorly by the nursing staff at this hospital, I would not recommend it.
