Our experience with the facility and staff was absolutely a very positive one. The facility is older but well maintained and clean. The administrative staff was helpful and knowledgeable which really put us at ease. We felt the administration staff and nursing staff were very caring and considerate with my family member's stay.

Our mom was put in facility on hospice on Friday and passed Sunday morning. The care was exceptional for the family and our mom.

Well it's definitely not improving lately It went from being a fairly good place under the old ownership and administration to perrty depressing most days again 80% of the staff come from temp agencys so they never put forth the effort needed by residents.There is virtually no management that works the floor at all. The food is rarely good at all or just throwed together because there is no one to over see what's going on in the kitchen. My experience as an Oakland Manor worker is unique. It is a place where there is no difference between people. It is a family place where everyone is well cared for according to their needs and the workers give the best to the residents. It is a safe and welcoming place where the safety and well-being of each person is the priority.
