My parents moved to Oak Crossing Retirement Living in June of 2024 . The facility itself is a nice design and is well maintained. Both my parents settled in and became comfortable fairly quickly. The staff are attentive, accommodating and pleasant . My Dad has since passed away and the nurses and staff have been very supportive for my mother. Nearly three months after my grandfather's passing, the public report has finally been released As expected, it confirms what we already knew — there were significant inaccuracies in the medical charts, critical care processes were not followed, and there was a clear failure in the standard of care provided at Oakcrossing Long-Term Care. My husband and I were in to visit his mother on May 18th 2025.We had gathered for a conversation in a sitting room near the elevator on the second floor. The time was very shortly after 6pm.Whilst enjoying our chat down the hall came a nurse, Psw or someone of that nature with a name starting with an M. With her were 3 residents being transported via the elevator. Upon waiting for the elevator M took it upon herself to make comments to the residents.
