Very disappointed with our experience at Oak Ridges Vision Centre. I drove from Richmond Hill to Newmarket to pick up my elderly mother, and then we traveled down to Oak Ridges for her confirmed eye exam appointment. When we checked in, the optometrist told us she had cancelled our appointment and given the spot to someone else—without informing us at all. No phone call, no message, nothing. I had a very disappointing experience at Oak Ridges Vision. They ordered the wrong contact lenses for me, and when I went back to exchange them, the staff member I dealt with was patronizing and unhelpful. Instead of simply acknowledging the mistake and fixing it, he kept asking “Who recommended these?”—when in reality, they were the ones who recommended them to me in the first place!
