I am a very proud former pioneer employee of Oak Crest for 29 years. I recently relocated out of state and had to resign from my position, but if I could pick up the entire community of Oak Crest, all of our residents and staff and move it all with me, I would in a heartbeat. Beware! If you have a spouse in the Memory care “ward”. I was told by a staff member they cannot stop patients from being in each other’s room and fraternizing with someone who is not their spouse!! It isnt bad enough the healthy spouse has to be separated after 50 years they add insult to injury when that spouse walks in on some new patient having their way with another patient who is farther along in their condition then the other. This place is horrible. Someone there stole both of my grandmother’s expensive diamond rings. I’m disgusted. Update: the rings were found/returned. I haven’t really been given a solid truth yet. So I’ll go from 1star to 3 for now….
