Warning! NVR is engaging in predatory lending practices. The Ryan Homes sales representative convinced me that I could buy a home if I went with their partner financing (NVR). When the good faith estimates came back, I realized I could not afford those payments. Ryan homes rushed me into giving them my deposit before for estimates so in essence they forced me to cancel the application and they kept my deposit. Again, beware! This was a trap, Please find financing somewhere else. They don’t have your best interests in mind.

I purchased a resale in a new ryan homes subdevision not knowing that ryan homes becomes my enemy starting from the model home representative in my new community. Ryan homes forever refused to give me the plat for my property while they failed to register proper doccumentation for this individual property at the county clerck's office! Ryan homes told me numerous times that "we do not keep papers for sold properties." My experience with NVR mortgage has been excellent. The personnel working at Courthouse commons from sales, engineering and production has been very open and clear about the whole process. Nothing had changed since the initial estimates were giving to me. The mortgage process has been outstanding, good communication and follow up. I don;t understand the negative reviews. NVR is like any other mortgage bank I had dealt with in the past.

I've owned a Ryan home for 11 years. There have been so many problems, there won't be room here to list them all. The house was not square, as I found out when I had outside contractors finish my basement. A number of windows (Patriot) have lost their seal and fog up. The tin foil air ducts in the attic are leaking air into the attic. I've had a number of problems with water leaks into the basement -- in the worst example, the basement walk-in was not sealed properly. Please be very careful with Ryan home. If you have a contract with them in closing date and if you're not closing the date that they gave you you will be fine. My experience I was 2 day late on closing. The company charge me $1,000 in late fee. I think this company it's not very easy to work with. We were supposed to close by the 31st and we end up closing on the 2nd of the month. The company charged me $1,000 for late fee.

RYAN HOmes is a RIPP Off, very bad customer service. Please people do not every purchase a home from these people. The homes at court house commons are c**** They lie and try to get you to use their own lenders who are bunch or criminals. Be AWARE of these people.

Buyer beware when purchasing a Ryan Homes. Lets start with the GE appliances standard in their homes but they do charge upgrade fees for better appliances. For example in my kitchen my over the stove microwave does not vent outside as it was an upgrade not made aware of until it was to late and when I contacted them they told me I didn't get the kitchen appliance upgrade. So now the kitchen cabinet only upgrade I paid for gets nasty cooking grease all over the face of the cabinet and has to be constantly cleaned. I did howev... read more

Very disappointed with my first home purchase. Ryan homes does very poor work when it comes to craftsmanship/workmanship. I've been in the house barely 3 months and the drywall seams in the ceiling and walls are showing. Paint/drywall is awful. They even "spot" painted prior to move in with a completely DIFFERENT color and acted like it was a normal thing to do! Holes in the drywall in spots. Bought the new NV home and spent close to million dollar. This is my third house in last 15 years. Previous builders were Rocky G***** and Wi******** homes. This house from NV homes is pathetic .Its less then 3 months and I have had multiple problems every other day. Faucets, heating, Leaking, and not once just some thing or the other every other day.
