They have good returns but when you want to get your money back, be prepared to wait for months and months. I am a beneficiary on an account and I'm still waiting for release of funds after 5 months of paperwork and phone calls back and forth. There was a form that I needed to submit that I didn't quite understand since I am neither a lawyer or a financial advisor so I called Nuveen to have them walk me through it. I have it notarized (the third separate document that I've had to have notarize) and submitted it after they walked me through it and then when I called to check the status; they told me the form was filled out incorrectly and that they would send me another copy. Oh, and don't expect anything via email. That's only if you're giving them money. When you're trying to get money, every piece of paperwork has to be done through snail mail. It's a total scam and a waste of time.
