Do I have to give it a star?Nuveen is exceptionally difficult to deal with.I am my (invalid) husband's POA and have been trying for MONTHS to get that added to his policy! HE wrote and signed a letter to that effect and they still will not approve it! Now they say we both have to fill out forms and have them notarized. All the other banks, businesses and investment companies we deal with (which include New York Life, ******* *****, SSA, PRUDENTIAL)have accepted the POA.Nuveen continues to drag this out! They have good returns but when you want to get your money back, be prepared to wait for months and months. I am a beneficiary on an account and I'm still waiting for release of funds after 5 months of paperwork and phone calls back and forth. There was a form that I needed to submit that I didn't quite understand since I am neither a lawyer or a financial advisor so I called Nuveen to have them walk me through it.
