Working with Melissa to identify what FODMAP foods were causing my digestive issues has been truly life changing. For the first time in my life, I feel in control of how my body responds to the foods I eat. Her wealth of knowledge, recommendations and personal support through this process was so helpful. 1st visit for consultation. Counselor was on schedule so there was very little waiting time. Counselor was very knowledgable and compassionate about my needs and was supportive and non judgmental. Easy to get started doing healthier foods and activities. Looking forward to my next visit.
I visited Nutrition Dynamix initially to work on losing weight. Pretty quickly, it was recognized that I was having other digestion trouble and they were great about getting me answers. I worked with Melissa to test a variety of foods, in an attempt to determine the problems. Having finally found foods that didn't agree with me but I always considered healthy has been immensely helpful in feeling better. Everyone at Nutrition Dynamix has been very patient with me and so very helpful!
After struggling to get good advice on nutrition, I finally found Melissa after an extensive research into what I needed. Melissa provides such a good framework to understand and adapt actions to a specific case. Melissa has been my nutritionist for a little over 6 months since being diagnosed with a rare and progressive inflammatory disease.
