I’m a 3rd generation Savannah local and have never been in a locally owned store in Savannah where the employees and owner are so unwelcoming and rude. I guess the stuff is cute but it is hard to tell without the sour taste in my mouth from how cold the employees are. I’ve been in numerous times and have never once been greeted! Never! There are other businesses in the Savannah area that are locally owned by kind people, unlike here.
Courtland and her team went above and beyond. My guests were truly delighted by the lovely monogrammed linens they created. Their attention to detail and quality tableware is unparalleled in the Savannah market. Thank you!
My experience at Courtland & Co. was unfortunate. In fact, I am posting this shortly after exiting the store. For a city that boasts southern charm and hospitality, this storefront fell incredibly flat. I walked in and was greeted by no one. A sour-faced man at the register could barely look up from the screen, and two women glanced my way (one of whom is presumably the owner) — but neither could be bothered to smile or acknowledge my presence.
