Extremely disappointed. This review is not based on their acupuncture services, I was unable to TRY their services. Their website lists their Saturday hours as open until 2pm. As of the writing of this review, I am sitting in their parking lot at 12:28pm (having driven 20+ minutes from my house to come try them out) and the doors are locked, lights off, not a car in sight, no sign on the door. Despite of my fear of needles, I first visited NUGA in 2018 with a severe case of Bells Palsy that Sentara and Riverside neurologists were unable to fix. Dr. Cho healed it completely within a few weeks. I went back in April 2023, after 3 years of insomnia and migraines that endocrinologist, sleep studies and pills couldn’t heal. It’s now June and I’m sleeping 7 hours a night, no headaches and just experiencing an overall improvement in general health and happiness. Thank you NUGA!
I can't thank Mr. Taehee Cho enough! I have been a patient since January 2023 for migraines, tinnitus, and GERD. It is now June and I haven't had a single migraine, my tinnitus is 98% gone (no ringing and I easily fall to sleep), and my GERD is also gone. In coordination with my other doctors, I have also been taken off 3 prescriptions due to my success with acupuncture. I feel so much better and have regained a quality of life that I thought was gone. Highly recommend!
I had progressive neck pain from whiplash for about 4 years. I was considering either chiropractic work or acupuncture. I went with NUGA acupuncture and within 3 months of following his direction and going to appointments my neck was so much better. After about 9 months I was cured, and it has now been 2 years since I have last had an appointment (I moved out of the area) and I still have full range of motion in my neck with zero pain.
