Garbage waited for 40 mins and then my name started going down the list because appointments jump ahead of you. What a massive waste of time and unprofessional organization
Tell them to fix their phone line and property website. I can't get past the menu when selecting from the menu. Waiting on the line for a representative doesn't work either, no one answers the phone. Website doesn't work either to get information on property tax.
Went to register a vehicle in Corpus today. After a 40 min wait, was told I could not register it in Nueces County since I lived in Cameron County. I showed the clerk a copy of SB 876, passed in 2022, that allows you to register autos in any county. It did not matter because the tax assessor/collector can refuse. Apparently, Nueces county refuses. This makes handling business for elderly parents that much more complicated.
