RUN! Jeez louise. Told I was paying $247 for a few day rental. After all the fees they lumped on once you’re standing there waiting for your car, I signed a piece of paper that said I was being charged $572 with the $300 deposit plus other fees. This is a great tactic. Get people stuck in their office, away from the airport, and then crush you with additional fees. We rented a car through Priceline to be picked up in Salt Lake City on July 5, 2024 Pick up seemed to go smoothly. The agent asked if we wanted insurance and we said we have our own policy that covers us on rentals. We said we want the rental and gas ONLY. He said fine I understand. I confirmed the rental and gas should be the only charge totaling approximately $210. He said correct. Then he had my husband initial a long list of items on an iPad. When we arived at the airport, the shuttle that picked us up had a very strong smell of marijuana. I don't hink it was the driver, I think it was the people in there before us. When we got to the off site rental, we were 2nd in line. The only lady working was in a argument with the guy in front of us which took quite a bite of time. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!! Sneaky, underhanded tactics!!! I specifically told them I declined the extra insurance, my daughter was standing right next to me and can confirm the I declined it. The lady told me what I was signing was to decline the insurance but instead it was accepting the charges. Why would I accept extra insurance when I have coverage from both my credit card as well as my own car insurance??? Cost me $190!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
