First car I drove off with started alerting oil change needed 20 miles outside of Phoenix and was told I could buy my own oil and put it in the vehicle! Then drove back to the office and the Mgr gave me new paperwork saying everything was taken care of. After returning the vehicle they tried to charge me an extra day because the car was 45 minutes later than the original pickup time! Not located at the airport despite no information saying otherwise. Then after waiting for the shuttle, the drive over to the sketchiest area, and waiting in line we were told the car we paid in full for online was actually $400 more expensive because of “other fees”. Canceled the car and got an uber back to the airport to get a car quickly and at the rate promised. Would never go back.

Incredibly disappointed with my first experience with Nucar. I rented a mini cooper online not really thinking anything of it. Once I got to the counter, whoever was helping me told me that I would need to download some app so I could locate the charging stations around town. I explained I didn’t know that I rented an electric vehicle and that wouldn’t work for a 2 day trip for me. He then told me that there were two cars available for the same price that were gas cars. This is the worst company ever! ( We rent cars all the time, so we are not knew to this experience, however this is the first time we used NU). They lied to us at the counter and told us we should of read the 4 page rental agreement on the tiny screen and not trusted what THEIR agent told us! It also was ridiculous how long we had to wait in line to just receive the car. They also had all kinds of hidden fees even tho we paid in full before we got there!
