Initially, they tried to give us a car that was filthy and had a small crack in the middle of the windshield. No apologies or admit it was an error. The staff were very not friendly at all. On returning, it us a completely different experience. Staff were friendly, efficient and immediately refunded the deposit.

Called number upon arriving at the pickup spot on island 2. Waited on hold for 25 minutes, no one answered and eventually the shuttle arrived.
Beware of NU Car Rentals. I arrived in SFO airport and found out NU closed at 4pm! I made a reservation for 6:30pm, which was accepted previously. I had to find a car last-minute with Avis; fortunately Avis had one but cost more since it was last-minute. Also, NU is located off-site, which would’ve required a shuttle after taking the train to the car rental center. I won’t ever try to rent from NU again.
