We had an excellent experience using NT 4x4 rental. The Prado we had was only 2 weeks old and very nice to drive. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend NT 4X4 hire, the 4wd we hired was practically new. The whole process was seamless and staff very friendly and easy to deal with. Thank you would use again if in Darwin.
Don't hire a Prado or car from NT 4x4 HIRE. Their website and quotes seem normal until you pick the car up, then they give you their list of Insurance Exclusions to sign. Even though you are paying full price for their insurance cover, you have to pay for; towing or salvage from a remote or sparsely populated area (the whole of NT is sparsely populated), damage to anyone elses property regardless of negligence (if you accidentally crash into another car, you have to pay for the damage to their vehicle), you can't drive outsi... read more
