My husband is insured only by the VA. His urgent care bills are sent to this company. We don't know why they do this. We have fought bills for over a year to no avail, then when I try to call them at the number listed, the phone goes dead. GRRRRR! Can anyone help me?!?!?!
I have filed my Medicare claim with Novitas three separate times, and every time they denied it without giving a specific reason. I am a disabled American in need of a kidney, and I paid $5250 to cover my surgery out of pocket. Despite sending them everything they asked for, they continue to reject my claim without explanation. My doctor refuses to file with Medicare because he says he "does not have the bandwidth to deal with them," leaving me to fight this battle on my own. Would not recommended this billing company at all horrible that Medicare would select this agency to run our nation senior citizens insurance. They’ve costed many individuals there dignity at home with much needed medical supplies and equipment. This whole country is falling apart. You would think that they would at least hire people who cared about people health at an Institute for insurance. For just $14 you too can destroy many lives. That’s what they pretty much told me and all of my clients.
