If I didn't see bad reviews I wouldn't have posted. As a bloke, I prefer strong massages, and I've been going to Novia for almost 2 decades. I never tell them my sore spots. They find them and do extra work on those areas. Had a couple of microsleeps recently during treatment and I've never been offered 'funny business' as I have been with others. Male or female masseuses here have always been top-notch. Thank you.
Just came out of the massage and thought I’d check the reviews as THAT WAS THE WORST MASSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD. Not only was the room freezing, I paid for a neck, shoulders and back massage $70 & 45mins. I tired to stop the massage several times, she concentrated for ages just on my top part of back. I asked are you going to do my neck and lower back. There was no system or technique with the massage, clearly has no idea of massage.
I went in for a quick neck and shoulder massage hoping for some relief from soreness, but unfortunately it wasn’t what I expected. The pressure was very hard and all over the place. I had to ask to massage my neck and there seemed to be a language barrier.
Terrible, unpleasant experience. Went for a special 90 minute full body massage and foot massage + cleanse. Massage was a very hard uncomfortable rub to the top half of my back and lower backs of legs. After an hour was pointed to a chair and feet put into a tub of water for half an hour and a band around my wrist, which left a red rash . Couldn't explain what it was for. One of the worst massage ever, How can they say its a massage? they just rub the body with some jel with no pressure.... worst experience ever, not worthy paying....
