I came to NovaCare in Piqua with work-related back pain, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the level of care I’ve received. Jim and Kayla are extremely knowledgeable and take the time to really work with their patients on posture, form, and strengthening. In just a few visits, my back is feeling significantly better. If you’re consistent and committed to progress, you’ll absolutely see results here. Also, a huge shoutout to Dawn at the front desk—she’s amazing with patients, super friendly, and makes scheduling a breeze.

I have started going to Nova Rehab in Piqua for a sprained knee with a goal of getting back to doing hiking, gardening and most importantly dog agility. I find the staff here thorough in the explanation of what exercises to do, the muscle groups I am working on, and the benefits of each. They answer questions I have with kindness. So far, I have loved my experiences at Nova Rehab in Piqua.

jim changed my life. hes very honest and blunt which i personally appreciate because i did need to hear it. if you cant handle taking accountability for your health then you wont like what he says, i think. I really appreciate what he did for me with my jaw disorder, and i probably cried to him way too many times. he helped me pick my head up to change my own life and cared enough to press me when I was slacking, and was very good and knowledgeable with tmj and other things. I am here after major rotator cuff surgery. I have found all staff and therapists to be very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. A nice quiet atmosphere, close to home. I am very pleased with the service I am receiving.

If anyone decides to go to this place, I would highly recommend staying away from Jim Drake. He definitely lets his job go to his head and does NOT make his clients feel comfortable being around him. He expects you to understand everything he is saying to do. He definitely gets his PT confused with his side job of coaching. He would rather belittle you and tell you straight to your face to go back to your surgeon and have surgery.
