My son was a victim in an accident in 2022 and Anthem denied the first claim. This resulted in providers obtaining my son's "med-pay" money from liability insurance. The purpose of "med-pay" is to pay for deductibles and co-insurance expenses, so he was billed for these and we had to pay them. I fought Anthem (with the help of my son's settlement attorney) with no success for about 5 years. We had filed appeals and requested an investigation through the SCC. Nothing. My experience couldn't have been better. The process was handled so smoothly and efficiently, and the end product actually had a "wow" factor.
