I cannot recommend this program for students seeking a transparent or professionally-vetted legal education. In my experience, the grading process was unjust and ambiguous; I received three identical 'F' grades across three substantively different subjects (Contracts, Torts, and Criminal Law). These grades were issued with generic, pre-written feedback that the school admitted was not mainly tied to the specific content of my exams. Update to original post. October 28, 2025 Still at it. In third year now. Still maintain initial sentiment - overall terrific experience. This school is one of the few offering asynchronous learning meaning you can access course materials including recorded lectures any time. So yes it still requires a tremendous level of effort, dedication, and self-discipline. I recently graduated from NWCU (in June 2025). I am so grateful for my experience at Northwestern. Balancing law school with work and family wasn’t easy, but NWCU made it possible. The professors were supportive and knowledgeable, and the program truly prepared me for the practice of law.
