The teachers themselves are absolutely wonderful. Everything else is such a pain that I'm debating switching to Pensacola. The staff with registration is extremely sassy and the student success center gets frustrated when you try to call for information. Further, the only campus that matters to them is the main campus. Smaller campuses are disgustingly outdated. Our A/C was either off or broken for the whole semester at the Fort Walton campus. The chairs were falling apart. My daughter and I walked In today bc she was dropped from her classes and were just standing around waiting to be helped when a lady walked in and asked if we needed help. Luckily we were there at the right time and the right person walked in when we needed help. Mrs. Aimee watts was that person and she was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. I dont Leave reviews often but I’m glad she was there to help us!
Communication at this school is horrible. Takes weeks to get an answer from someone. From Student Success, to the book store, to even the teachers. They say the preferred method of communication is by email, but they do not answer their emails.
God help you if you have a problem with your student account. I have been told "I don't know how to help you" by the help desk multiple times. Well maybe it's time for a new profession then, the help desk isn't for you. They have lost my paperwork multiple times, they will transfer you to another department who will then say we can't help you, they should have helped you in the previous department.
