Disgraceful bank. Was charged $37 for an overdraft ‘returned item fee’ for an accidental payment of $24 which was returned within a couple of hours. Manager refused to refund the fee, stating it was due to the fact it occurred ‘overnight’… despite the fact Northwest online banking isn’t available after 8pm- meaning you can’t transfer funds or see accurate amounts in your accounts. Just wanted to give a shout out to Nicole at branch 372 in Williamsville. About a month ago, I was having a terrible day. She was extremely kind and went out of her way to provide great customer service. Thank you, Nicole!
I've worked for this location so my experience is this location and people around at this time. All I wanted to do was my job and live my life but retail attitudes and personal biases led me to leave. This environment was toxic from the talking of “inner city thugs” to people telling me that I needed to be “more uppity.” I had someone on the staff telling me that a Netflix show called “They Cloned Tyrone” reminded them of me. The in-person staff are great people. However, if you told me that the customer service for Northwest had a secret employee who actively made my experience with them as difficult as possible, I wouldn't be surprised in any way. Forced password changes constantly. Loses contact with my venmo somehow so I can't send money. Mobile deposits will fail for terrible reasons such as "a corner of the paper was out of the shot."
