Northwest Bank is awesome- Travis and Dana provided top notch professional serivice. Not sure what Mike R. was thinking....i believe he was having a bad day with bad credit. This bank is the best I have ever dealt with....hands down
We have had a wonderful experience with Northwest Bank. It has been so nice to get back to an Iowa owned and based bank that has the interest of Iowans at heart. The large banks seem to have lost some customer loyalty and the smaller Iowa owned banks pride themselves with this trait. We have great contact from the bank in all our matter and are happy with all the hard work they have done for us in attempting to refinance our home.
Avoid this bank when getting a mortgage. They fail in every category.For communication, it takes about a week and a half for any phone call or email to be returned, even for the realtor.Fullfilling obligations, they havent done half the things required for the mortgage. The didnt make payments they promissed to make in the contract, the loan wasnt transfered to a different bank (for VA purposes) so we ended up with a deliquency notice in the mail the second month, we were notified about missing loan requirements from the VA ... read more
