I did not have a great experience. My husband drove all the way to woodinville from bellevue by getting a wfh because we did not get appointments and it was extremely difficult to reach them on phone as they never gave us a range of dates. They are nice people. Their clientele is good. But not effective. I was prescribed a larger flange size and asked to check shops. Id have appreciated if they tested with some flanges. I had a great experience with Northshore for my first pregnancy and giving birth to my baby at home! We initially started at a big hospital for prenatal care, but switched to Northshore at the beginning of my second trimester because the OB’s never made me feel like I was having a baby, but rather being treated for an illness at each visit (typical modern healthcare). From the perspective of a husband and a father, Northshore midwives has been a great experience. From prenatal care to postnatal, this is a group of midwives who really care and make having children a special thing. After going to 2 different OBs, my wife decided she wanted to do a home birth and have midwives. I didn’t think much about it but after our first visit, I knew that this the best path for us. We loved Northshore Midwives for our second baby! Everyone there is so kind and helpful! We had a standard hospital birth for our first that was good but, going to a midwifery raised my expectations! I always felt listened to and had my questions thoroughly answered. I saw Caroline for most of my prenatal appointments, she also delivered our baby, and it was such a great experience! I'm leaving this review as a husband & father, who was at 1st skeptical when my wife said she wanted to consider a midwife rather than at a traditional hospital for our son's birth. We were lucky enough to have midwife Amanda deliver both of our babies. She helped us grieve the loss of our 1st pregnancy and guided us through our subsequent successful pregnancies.
