We have our home mortgage through Northrim. We're considering getting an auto loan for a vehicle, and I went into the local branch to ask about details. The banker I talked with was very condescending as she handed me their rate sheet, and said, "keep in mind these rates are for VERY well qualified borrowers with VERY good credit", all while giving a sideways glance at my slightly dirty work clothes. When it came out that we're looking at an older vehicle (2012) she said, oh our policy is no older than 7 model years, unless ... read more
