I recently sold my horse to a lovely family quite a ways from me. They picked this company as the shipper. There was poor communication about timing of pick up and drop off to the new home. When the trailer came there was a young child in the truck unbuckled, no seat belt and no apparent car seat which is incredibly unsafe. They removed a big stress by accepting to deliver my 4 highland calf to the USA from Quebec, Canada. Really nice service. Justina and michele was so nice and have a really good vibe. Animal was loaded without any stress. Will use this transport again for sure !!
I tried 3 times via email and requested pricing and availability to transport a horse from Quebec to Alberta. Never received a call back. Went on to another horse transport business that made the trip happen.
I purchased a brood mare from Ontario and hired a hauler to bring her to Alberta. Unfortunately we got dropped by the hauler last minute (day of pick up) and I needed a new company asap. Michelle at Northern Horse made the whole booking experience very easy on me, communication was excellent and she was very accommodating! Kevin was the driver for the trip and he was excellent at keeping me updated and even sent a photo of my mare taken during the layover in Winnipeg. I appreciated that they were able to get my horse safely and in relaxed/good condition from US back up to Canada. There was a delay, but we were kept well informed and able to arrange pickup no problem and were kept in communication about border crossing/drop off etc. Very easy to work with. Only feedback was maybe having instructions on anything additional like the brokerage as it was just our second time, but it doesn't take away from our experience.
