NCU was my first bank, way back when I was 16. I stayed with them till I was around 40 years old. I always liked the atmosphere of a small credit union, but ever since they got this new building it seems like they're getting more and more like the big banks. They don't know you by name anymore. When I went to get a consolidation loan instead of being treated like a long-time friend who needed a little help, I was treated like a stranger off the street and a 3-digit number in a computer.
