NCU was my first bank, way back when I was 16. I stayed with them till I was around 40 years old. I always liked the atmosphere of a small credit union, but ever since they got this new building it seems like they're getting more and more like the big banks. They don't know you by name anymore. When I went to get a consolidation loan I was treated like a stranger off the street and a number in a computer. Compared to banks, I appreciate NCU's effort to provide good customer service and not being beholding to shareholders and corporate greed. App and online banking works everytime I use it. Senior's fees reasonable, no complaint. The Hub a much appreciated call centre experience having it staffed with NCU employees with access to account. I have 1 branch transaction a month. -* Only complaint is lack of wickets open at the beginning of the month.
