Who ever writes the checks for the fire money you need to fire them. My mothers Estate has written 3 rounds of checks to her dependents. All three times they have messed it up. You guys need to do better.
On the day I signed on with these lawyers, they were very friendly & helpful. About a week later, I stopped back at their office to ask some questions. When I mentioned that I had a back child support judgement against me, it was like a switch was thrown behind my lawyers eyes, his whole face changed it's expression, and got hostile towards any further questions being asked. Uncooperative, rude, incompetence, mishandling of documentation and so much more . Refused to tell me who their malpractice insurance company is, then hung up on me. Reporting them to the California State Bar Association . Worst experience ever.

Shameful. It’s been six years since the Paradise fire and they have not paid one cent to anyone I know. It’s like being traumatized all over again dealing with these people. I think they are beyond incompetent and suspect they are stealing from clients at this point.
