I had stopped into Music to My Ear originally to get stuff for my Turntable. I got to talking with Greg (manager) and he talked about the different things that were happing in Northern Audio. I was interested in the way he described the set up they have now and he asked if I wanted a tour. I was honestly awestruck to how incredible the different rooms sounded. I just spent the entire afternoon in an audiophile masterclass with Greg from Northern Audio. He could not have been more welcoming and inviting. You can tell the pride he takes in knowing the equipment he sells. If you are interested in an upgrading your sound system or home theater, I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. Will definitely be back with check book in hand!
I walked in with no appointment, just looking to see what floorstanding speakers might pair well with my Naim gear. Greg was out to lunch but came back promptly. This place is great! Welcoming, knowledgable, kind and helpful people. A couple years ago I went into Northern Audio looking for an amp and speakers to work in an odd shaped space. I had little knowledge and limited money. Greg, the owner, took a lot of time to show me around the shop, ask a lot of questions about what I prioritized in my listening, and offer his suggestions on what would work best.
