I want to know how a business can just randomly double your bill when there's no more gallons of water being used than what you've always used to pass 4 years. Sent you a bill that went from 60 bucks to $191 for almost a year and then out of the blue they decide to come out and fix a major leak that was on their part and the damage was not even on my property It was across the road and then what would you know my water bill goes down to 60 bucks the next month and it's a normal water bill but yet I'm not the one that had the... read more

Northeastern water company of ft ***** al is the worse company to deal with you have to pay a 75$ fee for them to come out and cut your water off with a zip tie they dont put a lock on it just a zip tie but once you pay your bill they want you to go out there and cut the zip tie off yourself because they said its not there responsibility to come back out but will come out to turn it off and you paying them 75$ on top of your bill. I agree with ******. I just paid $1000.00 for an undetected leak. Water Department would not adjust bill as do neighboring water departments.They should have meters with leak detectors that have auto -shutoff. This is the 21st Century!

They will not notify you if you have a leak. Have been told twice they are not required to. They choose to let water run out on the ground and waste it instead of notifying customers so it can be fixed and save the customer money and the precious ********************** resource.
